Hello everyone:
I have for some years been trying to keep an open mind about
someday migrating away from Agent 99. The company, Forte, has a
poor attitude about making some basic improvements on the email
side of things (they favor the usenet side).
Does anyone here have experience with a migration, or wish to
comment on things to look out for? There are several things
that keep me using Agent 99, and probably still will. They
include the years that I have invested setting up my filters for
various accounts. These help me to really keep things straight.
I'm assuming I'd lose them, and the associated organization of
folders?, even with a decent migration program.
I'm looking at this page:
http://www.ritlabs.com/en/products/thebat/features.php
Forte isn't listed, but maybe there is some recommended
compromise.
Is the-bat suitable for use as a usenet reader? It's not the
most important thing to me, but I am curious.
Thanks for any pointers,
Josh
